A Taste of Spring

Tulips

Like many parts of the country, Wichita has been experiencing quite a winter.  We’ve had several major snowstorms, but one week after the most recent one we were having record high temperatures in the 70’s.  Crazy stuff.  We have a nice botanical garden in the city, this is one of my better images taken there.  Hopefully a reminder of things to come.

Beautiful. It’s 19 degrees here and I need something like this today. No end to the cold in sight here, but that’s typical for February. Thanks for this, though.

  2. I was recently playing around, processing some similar images, but your image here is by far much better than anything I cam up with. This is a rare example where more saturation is better. Very nice job, this screams tulips.

  3. We’ve been known to get major snow as late as May around here, but hopefully Spring will spring as soon as possible. Thanks for the comments.
