Might as well finish out the week with another cool hood ornament. This one is from a 1941 Pontiac, on display at the Black Top Nationals in Wichita.

I always loved the Chief and the strips that flowed under him. They don’t make ’em like that anymore. I like the way this is isolated from the background and the sepia tone is really nice. I think 1941 was the last year for Pontiac until after the War but the style was still there.
